NewBuild Venture Capital Welcomes Madhav Durbha as a Venture Partner

PALO ALTO, Calif., Dec. 20, 2023 – NewBuild Venture Capital, an early-stage venture capital firm focused on enterprise and supply chain software, today announced the addition of Dr. Madhav Durbha as a Venture Partner. Madhav brings 25+ years of operating experience across the supply chain. He is NewBuild’s first addition beyond the founding team.

A veteran practitioner and angel investor in the space, Madhav has broad experience in supply chain strategy, process consulting, and go-to-market strategy. His expertise also extends to the core technology rails (cloud, AI, data, connected devices) that are transforming enterprise software. Madhav will source and advise the NewBuild team on software investments across procurement, manufacturing, sustainability, logistics, and supply chain resilience.

Previously, Madhav was the Vice President of Supply Chain Strategy at Coupa Software where he led go-to-market (GTM) strategy and product marketing for Supply Chain Design, Direct Spend, and several other product lines. Before Coupa, Madhav held a leadership position at LLamasoft, where he played an instrumental role in the acquisition of Opex Analytics which significantly enhanced LLamasoft’s AI capabilities. Madhav also held executive roles at Kinaxis, BlueYonder, and i2 Technologies.

He received his Ph.D. in chemical engineering from the University of Florida and his bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology at Madras.
